Anica Meins-Becker leitet das BIM-Institut an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal. Sie wurde in 2021 zur Professorin für die "Digitale Transformation in der Bau- und Immobilienwirtschaft" ernannt und habilitierte in 2020 zum Thema „BIM, Digitalisierung und Prozessmanagement“. Sie engagiert sich im Vorstand von buildingSMART Deutschland und ist die Vorsitzende des FA BIM beim VDI. ___ English: Anica Meins-Becker is the leader of the BIM Institute at the University of Wuppertal.
