Martin Murrack studierte an der Universität Duisburg-Essen Kommunikationswissenschaft und praktische Sozialwissenschaft. Er war zunächst als Projektleiter im Dezernat für Wirtschaft und Liegenschaften in der Stadt Köln tätig und ab 2010 im Ministerium für Finanzen des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen als Büroleiter und persönlicher Referent des Finanzministers NRW. 2017 wurde er Abteilungsleiter in der Staatskanzlei des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen und war dort für zunächst für die Ressortkoordination zuständig und später als Dezernent für Personal, Organisation, Digitalisierung und bezirkliche Angelegenheiten der Stadt Duisburg tätig. Martin Murrack ist heute im Finanzdezernat in der Funktionen des Stadtdirektors und des Stadtkämmerers. Sein Dezernat umfasst die Finanzen, Beteiligungen, Digitalisierung und die Feuerwehr der Stadt Duisburg. ___ English: Martin Murrack studied communication science and practical social science at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Today Martin Murrack works in the Finance Department in the roles of City Director and City Treasurer. His department covers finance, investments, digitalisation and the City of Duisburg's fire service.
