Biografie

Prof. Dr. Reinhard Wimmer ist seit 2022 Professor für Digitales Planen und Bauen an der Hochschule Karlsruhe sowie Loungeleiter der tgabar e.V. 2020 promovierte er an der RWTH Aachen University zum Thema „BIM-Informationsmanagement bei der thermisch-energetischen Simulation von gebäudetechnischen Anlagen“. Seit 2017 ist er als BIM Manager bei der TMM Group Gesamtplanungs GmbH tätig. Darüber hinaus engagiert sich Reinhard Wimmer in verschiedenen Gremien, bspw. im Europäischen BIM Normungsausschuss, im Richtlinienausschuss VDI 2552-10 und 2552-4 sowie in der tgabar e.V. _____ English: Prof. Dr. Reinhard Wimmer has been Professor of Digital Design and Construction at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and Lounge Director of tgabar e.V. since 2022. In 2020, he completed his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University on the topic of "BIM information management in the thermal-energetic simulation of building services engineering systems". He has been working as BIM Manager at TMM Group Gesamtplanungs GmbH since 2017. Reinhard Wimmer is also involved in various committees, such as the European BIM Standardisation Committee, the VDI 2552-10 and 2552-4 guidelines committee and tgabar e.V.
