Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Hartmann studierte Bauingenieurwesen/Bauinformatik an der TU Berlin. Neben Forschungsaufenthalten an der TU Berlin und der Universität Karlsruhe (KIT) war er als technischer Leiter im Forschungsteam von Nemetschek Allplan für BIM-Anwendungen und Feldanwendungen zuständig. Von 2014 bis 2023 war Ulrich Hartmann als BIM- und CDE-Experte sowie Academy Speaker Teil des Global Strategic Product Management Team von ORACLE Construction & Engineering. Heute unterstützt er als unabhängiger Berater BIM-Projekte und Unternehmen. Er ist sehr aktiv in der deutschen und internationalen BIM-Normung unter anderem in der ISO BIM/GIS Interoperability Group, der CEN Working Group Digital Twin for the Built Environment, ist Mit-Autor der deutschen DIN-BIM-Roadmap und hat bei zahlreichen Blättern der deutschen BIM-Richtlinie VDI 2552 mitgewirkt. Im Nov. 2022 veröffentlichte er das umfassende BIM-Nachschlagewerk "Building Information Modeling – Grundlagen, Standards und Praxis". Er veröffentlicht regelmässig Artikel in Fachzeitschriften und hält Vorträge auf Intergeo, BIM World oder dem BIM Coordinators Summit. ___ English: Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Hartmann studied civil engineering/building informatics at the TU Berlin. In addition to research stays at the TU Berlin and the University of Karlsruhe (KIT), he was responsible for BIM applications and field applications as a technical manager in the Nemetschek Allplan research team. From 2014 to 2023, Ulrich Hartmann was part of the Global Strategic Product Management Team of ORACLE Construction & Engineering as a BIM and CDE expert and Academy Speaker. Today, he supports BIM projects and companies as an independent consultant. He is very active in German and international BIM standardisation, including in the ISO BIM/GIS Interoperability Group, the CEN Working Group Digital Twin for the Built Environment, is co-author of the German DIN BIM Roadmap and has contributed to numerous sheets of the German BIM guideline VDI 2552. In Nov. 2022, he published the comprehensive BIM reference work "Building Information Modelling - Fundamentals, Standards and Practice". He regularly publishes articles in specialist journals and gives lectures at Intergeo, BIM World and the BIM Coordinators Summit.
