Prof. Dr. -techn. Sigrid Brell-Cokcan

Univ.-Prof. Dr.-techn. Sigrid Brell-Cokcan ist Gründerin und Leiterin des Lehrstuhls für Individualisierte Bauproduktion an der RWTH Aachen und Präsidentin der Association for Robots in Architecture und war bis 2021 im Vorstand von euRobotics. In den letzten Jahren leistete sie Pionierarbeit in der einfachen Anwendung von Robotik im Bauwesen. Im Jahr 2016 gründete Sigrid Brell-Cokcan das neue Center Construction Robotics in Aachen und initiierte die neue Topic Group für Construction Robotics innerhalb von euRobotics. Darüber hinaus ist sie Chefredakteurin des neuen wissenschaftlichen Springer Journal Construction Robotics und Teil des Autorenteams der lebenden Springer Encyclopedia of Robotics | SpringerLink. In 2016, Sigrid Brell-Cokcan founded the newe Center for Construction Robotics in Aachen and the new Topic Group for Construction Robotics within euRobotics. In addition, as editor-in-chief, she has launched the new scientific Springer Journal Construction Robotics and is part of the author team of the living Springer Encyclopedia of Robotics | SpringerLink. Her innovations in the field of construction robotics have already been nominated twice for the KUKA Innovation Award and the BAUMA Innovation Award, and in 2025 she received an award for her research.
