Circular economy – reversing on a one-way street

- Type: Panel discussion
Lecture description
The circular economy in construction requires a fundamental rethink along the entire process and value chain. This is not just a matter of combining and separating materials and substances, but rather of changing the economic model, widely referred to as transformation. The panel discussion will examine this area of tension from different, complementary perspectives. Together, they will show that the circular economy in construction can only work if all stakeholders work together. Demolition, industry, and system innovation are not isolated fields, but rather interdependent building blocks of a transformation that combines ecological responsibility, economic viability, and planning innovation.
