Unique properties define our cities. While individual, context-driven architecture is beautiful, it is also complex. In new construction, BIM could handle this complexity. In existing buildings, we still rely on manual measurements. With 80% of the 2050 building stock already standing, achieving climate goals requires the renovation of millions of homes. Every facade, every roof, and every heat pump starts with a measurement – usually before an offer is even made. In an era of shortage of skilled workers, we have only two options: recruit more talent or empower our current workforce through technology.
